Scenario
An Iranian American trans man travels back in time to an LGBTQ+ archive to understand his sexuality. He meets his past and present during an erotic journey of self-discovery. As interviewees discuss the uncertainty and challenges of new and changing within an already established community. The insights provided into the risks facing this community feel eye-opening, but not in the traditional sense. I felt that the stories within this film simply showed how to focus on issues that are apparently hidden. I recommend this movie. By learning about those around us, we learn more about ourselves. I was definitely educated through this particular movie.
